The Dubai Sports City project was initiated and designed by two young Emirati businessmen (Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni and Abdulrahman Falaknaz), both of whom have more than 20 years of experience in the business sectors of construction, retail, and real estate development With their commingled resources and the shared passion that they each have for sports as a vocation, these two individuals are creating a vision that has never before been executed on this earth. The ultimate goal of the Dubai Sports City development will be to create an active and continually evolving community for many generations to come.
They are committed and doing everything they can to take the Dubai Government's sustainability initiatives seriously — making and sustaining communities with environmentally-friendly living, and reducing carbon emissions — from the beginning through to our residential communities, where we are implementing solar street lights as one way of creating these environmentally-friendly communities.
