Al Furjan is a luxury residential project, situated in Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is built mainly by Nakheel Properties, with a considerable amount of the construction being built by Azizi Developments. It is the community that borders Jebel Ali Village and is located close to the Expo 2020 location, Ibn Battuta Mall, and the Gardens. Al Furjan residential units are usually built in three types of architectural designs: Al Hejaz (traditional Arabic), Dubai (local), and Quortaj (Islamic/Mediterranean).
Al Furjan has also buildings by other developers such as Al Jaziri Brothers, CPL Real Estate Development, Danube Properties, Deyaar Development, Diamond Real Estate Developers, Ghreiwati Properties, Invest Group Overseas, Jag Development, MAG Property Development, Meilenstein Real Estate Development, Mira Developments, Samana Developers, Seen Real Estate Developers, and Wasl Properties, as well as Nakheel and Azizi developments.
The initial stage of Al Furjan, which was oriented towards the East and South villages, was announced in September 2007. In just seven days, all 800 villas and terrace homes were sold. Phase two was aimed at the North and West villages. In June 2008, Moro Nakheel gave the first large contract to Arabtec Holding PJSC to construct 1,400 homes, and the contract carried a value of AED 3 billion. These were two villas and terraced home construction contracts awarded to Al Shafar Transport and Contracting Company.
